New York, the city of creative entrepreneurs!
Since 2023, I’ve been waiting for this moment: coming back to New York to better understand and explore the New York business model.
As we all know, Americans play on another level with a mindset that sparks big ideas and inspires bold projects.
As entrepreneurs, it takes a lot of faith to persevere, to believe in our vision, and to chase projects that are bigger than ourselves. Today, I feel blessed to be able to be back in town with Kevin, ready to dive into new adventures and opportunities. We’ve shared as much of this journey as possible through a vlog and right here on this website.
Building Strong Connections in NYC
After spending an incredible month in New York City this past April, I’m finally ready to share a project that’s been so close to my heart. 🗽
While in NYC, I met and interviewed brilliant entrepreneurs who are reshaping their industries, from sustainable fashion to tech, photography, and impact-driven business.
Each conversation was a deep dive into their journey, values, and creative vision and trust me, there’s so much wisdom coming your way.

The entrepreneurs I meet have such inspiring and powerful stories worth sharing. Through my own journey, I also want to inspire other entrepreneurs to take the leap, step outside their comfort zone, and explore new adventures beyond their continent.

As Belgo-congolese creatives visiting New York, we couldn’t miss the chance to honor this year’s Met Gala theme: Tailoring Black Style a tribute that deeply echoes the legacy of La Sape. 🇨🇩
But what made this week even more surreal is that, just the Monday before the Met, we had a meeting at Vogue’s offices in the World Trade Center… and we actually ran into Anna Wintour herself!
We came to New York to explore new opportunities as Black creative entrepreneurs, and this symbolic moment confirmed one thing: New York City is definitely the place to be.
